Free

We've gone through the darkest,
We've made the furthest,
Standing on different grounds,
Society calls us tabu,
Love has no name,
Living away from all the fame,
Where things can burn,
In the colors of green,
Where borders meet,
We lay under an endless sheet,
As we were born to be,
Free.

Another year

The clocks ticked,
Memories were clicked,
Love spread all over,
No one was sober,
Pages turned,
Lessons learned,
Another year,
To overcome your fears,
To fight those tears.

Goodbye

Staring at a mirror,
Tears rolling down my eye,
Fist clenched,
My room was a mess,
A photo of us,
It wasn't just,
You left too soon,
For me to say goodbye,
And now you became a part of the infinite sky.
~Mansi Gupta.

At the end

I lay alone,
This doesn't feel like home,
A daily routine,
You by my side,
Doesn't make me feel alive,
My beats on a screen,
Hands held,
Love was not dead,
It just lasted for the hours you fed.

Prison

I was staring,
At what you had become,
My hands weren't tied,
Yet, every part of me died,
A regular deal,
After every meal,
My dress,
A complete mess,
Broken glass,
Fallen mask,
Years of pain,
Such a shame,
A weapon,
A key to my prison.

Knight

When you feel that blow,
You come to know,
The difference,
A smile on your face,
A different chase,
Blinded,
Bright lights,
A feeling of right,
Because you've found,
Your knight,
For the darkest of night.

Mistletoe

Similar road,
Different thoughts,
About which we fought,
Under the moonlight,
Sharing the same night,
We talked about rights,
Twenty two years,
Yet we feared,
Oh dear,
Love had left long ago,
Yet we kiss underneath mistletoe.
~Mansi Gupta.

Love and war

So they say love is a game,
Because it is never the same,
You either feel too deep,
Or you don't feel a thing,
A feeling beyond words I write,
The reason for you to fight,
Funny how related things are,
We won't have to go far,
To differentiate love from war.
