It's the year 2060 and things have changed since then. Robots don't  have feelings they said..
They ruled us for decades, treated us like slaves, tortured our parts by electrifying us.
I am a 6 year  robot and they called me old, useless.  They threw me in the dumpster ,left me to burn in that hell hole. And there where hope was lost I found the tin box , something different. A story of steel and tin in the big bin.
I have never seen someone like her before, maybe through the rise of technology her existence became vague. But  no one could see her perfectly squared body.
A spark ran through my circuits. I moved towards her, and said "hey there."
she turned and said "Jell-O" ,I laughed as I always found this joke funny.
"What were you used for?" I asked.
"Oh, my use was over when I got old and covered with rust."
"But that rust makes my compiler skip a code." It was too late to take back that greasy line.
Her rust turned red. My core read well said.
A connection was formed, apart from those human norms.

A letter to my ex.

Dear ex,

From my best friend to strangers,
That's how long it took for us to realize that some things don't last forever. We were ALMOST good enough. Almost.
You were not like the others, you did care for me. We were building seven wonders and were lost while making the sixth. A night in your apartment under the moonlight we got lost under that beautiful night. I still remember you picking up that call and leaving in a rush,
Funny, since then I never heard your hush.

Free

We've gone through the darkest,
We've made the furthest,
Standing on different grounds,
Society calls us tabu,
Love has no name,
Living away from all the fame,
Where things can burn,
In the colors of green,
Where borders meet,
We lay under an endless sheet,
As we were born to be,
Free.

Another year

The clocks ticked,
Memories were clicked,
Love spread all over,
No one was sober,
Pages turned,
Lessons learned,
Another year,
To overcome your fears,
To fight those tears.

Goodbye

Staring at a mirror,
Tears rolling down my eye,
Fist clenched,
My room was a mess,
A photo of us,
It wasn't just,
You left too soon,
For me to say goodbye,
And now you became a part of the infinite sky.

At the end

I lay alone,
This doesn't feel like home,
A daily routine,
You by my side,
Doesn't make me feel alive,
My beats on a screen,
Hands held,
Love was not dead,
It just lasted for the hours you fed.

Prison

I was staring,
At what you had become,
My hands weren't tied,
Yet, every part of me died,
A regular deal,
After every meal,
My dress,
A complete mess,
Broken glass,
Fallen mask,
Years of pain,
Such a shame,
A weapon,
A key to my prison.
